Counter top, bench mounted or wall mounted
Most of the basins here are listed as counter top or bench mounted stone vessels. A few are listed as either bench mounted or wall mounted, so the one basin can go on a bench or on the wall. Check the description on the product page for the mounting it lists, and ask us if your design needs the other. If you want the wall instead, see our wall hung basins.
Choosing the size
The range runs from 300mm to 1,500mm wide, 300mm to 515mm deep and 95mm to 190mm high. Decide where the tap sits and how much bench is left around the basin before you choose, and measure twice so it goes in properly the first time. Weight and the bench beneath it
A stone basin is solid. Net weights across this range run from 6kg to 30kg, listed on each product page, so the bench or vanity needs to be built to carry it. Tell your builder the weight before the bench is made.
Tap holes, and what is in the box
Most basins here list a tap hole as an extra fee, and some are supplied with the basin only. Read the Included line on each product page before you order, because a product image can show a tap hole, overflow or waste that is not part of the basin. Decide where the tap goes when you choose the basin, then see our basin mixers.
The material
Moda cast stone is a blend of limestone and high performance resins, pure white, and each piece is individually hand finished by craftsmen. The result is a solid material with a smooth, silky matt finish that is every bit as beautiful as sculpted marble. Every basin on this page carries a 10 year warranty.
Matched to the bath

What is the difference between an above counter basin and an under counter basin?
An above counter basin sits on top of the bench. An under counter basin is fitted beneath it. Both are Moda cast stone, and you will find the under counter models in our undermount basins.
